Healthy Eating Salah satu tips diet yang paling populer adalah mengatur pola makan walau sudah banyak diketahui tapi masih banyak miskonsepsi terkait hal ini. Berikut adalah Kunci pola makanan sehat menurut WHO (Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia): a. Asupan energy yang di konsumsi (dari makanan) musti seimbang dengan energy yang dikeluarkan (melalui aktivitas fisik). b. Konsumsi sedikitnya 400 gr buah-buahan & sayur-sayuran per hari juga masukkan pula legume nuts dan whole grains kedalam menu diet sehat kita sehari-hari. c. Asupan energy (makanan) dari fat tidak lebih dari 30% dari total asupan energy (makanan) yang dikonsumsi dalam 1 hari hindari saturated & trans fat lebih baik konsumsi unsaturated fat. d. Batas konsumsi gula idealnya tidak lebih dari 5% dari total asupan energy (makanan) yang dikonsumsi dalam 1 hari. Sebagai contoh: otot yang telah dilatih dalam aktivitas fisik perlu regenerasi dari asupan makan yang baik (tinggi protein) otot dapat dibentuk kembali dengan massa yang lebih tebal waktu yang paling optimal untuk regenerasi ini adalah saat tidur. Bayangkan betapa mubazirnya saat seseorang sudah berolahraga cukup keras tetapi memiliki kualitas tidur yang buruk (begadang/stress) maka regenerasi otot dan pembakaran lemak tidak akan optimal. Tidur juga memberikan waktu optimalisasi nutrisi untuk otak. Kebanyakan orang membutuhkan tidur antara 7 dan 9 jam setiap malam.
